Sign-in sessions and devices
Stay signed in for 30 days on a device you choose, see and forget remembered devices, sign out of every device, and choose how long Confirm it's you waits.
You can ask BillingMart to keep you signed in on a browser or phone for up to 30 days. The device you choose is listed under Your account on the web and under Account on the phones. You can forget any of them, or sign out of every device at once. Remembering a device never skips Confirm it's you, or the second step that payments and approvals ask for.
Remember this device
On the web sign-in page, Remember this device for 30 days is ticked by default. Leave it ticked and this browser stays signed in, even after you close it. Untick it and the sign-in ends when you close the browser.
On a phone, the sign-in screen offers the same choice when the phone has a fingerprint, face or Face ID set up. The app then locks, and you unlock it with your fingerprint or face. See Sign in on your phone.
Remembering needs a recent sign-in and a verified email address. When a new device is remembered, BillingMart emails you. If that was not you, forget the device and change your password.
About every few hours, a remembered device quietly proves to BillingMart that it still holds its key. If you have forgotten it, or its 30 days have passed, it signs out and the sign-in page says so.
See and forget remembered devices
- Open Your account and find Remembered devices.
- Each row shows the device, when it was Last used, and Remembered until. Your current browser is marked This device.
- Select Forget on the row.
You are asked to confirm it's you first. If you forget the device you are using, you are signed out. Any other device signs out the next time it checks in, within a few hours. A device that stays offline keeps its session until its 30 days end.
On the iPhone and Android, open Account and find Remembered devices. It shows this phone, with a switch to unlock with your fingerprint, face or Face ID, and a Forget this device button. Other devices are listed below, each with its own Forget. On the phone, forgetting keeps you signed in for now.
There is no list of every browser you ever signed in on. A browser where you did not tick the box does not appear.
Sign out of all devices
On Your account, Sign out of all devices ends every session you hold, on every browser and phone, this one included. Confirm it's you when asked. A device that is offline stays signed in until it next connects, for up to an hour. Forget all devices in the remembered list does the same thing. This button is on the web only.
Removing a second step also ends every session. So does a team owner or admin removing you from a workspace.
How long Confirm it's you waits
Some actions ask you to confirm it's you if you signed in more than five minutes ago. Examples are voids and refunds, team changes, API keys and forgetting a device. The Confirm it's you window asks for your password, or Google, and then your code if you have a second step.
On the web and on the iPhone you can pick Don't ask again for 5 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour or 8 hours. The choice belongs to that one sign-in. Sign in again and the wait starts at five minutes. A longer choice means anyone at an unlocked screen can do those actions without a new code for that time, so pick the shortest that suits you.
The Android app does not offer the choice.
